Thinglink Poetry
WALT: Write a cinquin poem. Today we had to collect a leaf and use the leaf to create a picture. Then we had to write a poem about what we turned the leaf into. Hover over my bullet point to read my poem.

Soldier-Moment in Time
WALT: Use adjectives (describing words) to make our writing interesting to the reader.
We pretended we were a soldier in the war, using our senses to describe what it was like.
I saw...soldiers shooting guns and shooting at lots of people.
I heard...blasting guns killing people.
I felt...red gluely sticky blood on my skin.
I wondered...what soldiers are died in the war.
